Steve Melink is the founder, owner and president of Melink Corporation, a provider of HVAC commissioning services, energy-saving kitchen ventilation controls, solar PV systems and geothermal HVAC for the commercial building industry since 1987. Customers include national restaurant, retail, supermarket and hotel chains, as well as schools, hospitals, and federal, state and local governments.
Steve is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ohio and holds a BSME degree from Vanderbilt and MBA from Duke University. He is past president of the U.S. Green Building Council - Cincinnati Chapter; board member of Ohio Advanced Energy Economy; and former board member of Green Umbrella and Green Energy Ohio. He is also a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers; and Association of Energy Engineers.
Melink Corporation’s headquarters in Cincinnati is the first LEED-Gold New Construction and LEED-Platinum Existing Building Certified office building in Ohio. It is also Energy Star certified with a rating of 99 out of 100. In 2010, the Association of Energy Engineers awarded our building the Renewable Energy Project of the Year. Our headquarters is one of the first existing buildings in the U.S. to become Net-Zero Energy.
