- If your Intelli-Hood’s optic sensor isn’t functioning properly, consider the following steps:
- Check for obstructions: Ensure there are no items like Ansul pipes, pots, or pans blocking the sensor’s infrared beam.
- Clean the sensors: Dirty lenses can impede functionality. Polish with a clean, or slightly damp, soft cloth.
- Verify cable connections: Ensure that cables are securely connected on both the optic boards and the hood controller.
- Check alignment: Use the system’s online portal to assess gain/voltage levels and adjust alignment as needed.
- Inspect for faults: If the system displays messages like “Emitter Missing” or “Receiver Missing,” it indicates issues with the respective components.
